The House Democracy Assistance Commission sent a bipartisan delegation of five House Members to Mongolia and Indonesia from June 29 to July 9, 2007. The trip marked the Commission's seventh congressional delegation since its establishment in 2005. Rep. Donald Payne (D-NJ) led the group, which included Reps. David Dreier (R-CA), Mazie Hirono (D-HI), Jeff Miller (R-FL), and Jim Moran (D-VA).

This was the first visit to Mongolia by an HDAC delegation and the second visit to Indonesia, following a February 2006 delegation.

The House Democracy Assistance Commission (HDAC) sent a bipartisan delegation of four House Members to partner countries Lebanon and Liberia from May 25 to June 3, 2007. The trip marked the Commission's sixth congressional delegation since its establishment in 2005. Rep. David Price (D-NC) led the group, which included Rep. Nick Rahall (D-WV), Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI), and Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE). This was the Commission's second visit to each partner nation.

April 7, 2007

The House Democracy Assistance Commission (HDAC) sent a bipartisan delegation of three House members to partner nations Ukraine and Georgia from March 29 to April 7, 2007. The trip marked the Commission's fifth congressional delegation since its establishment in 2005. Rep. David Price (D-NC) led the group, which included Reps. Allyson Schwartz (D-PA) and Bill Shuster (R-PA). This was the first visit that an HDAC delegation has taken to either country.
